PostPen support

Get help connecting an AI agent to PostPen, fixing a post that did not publish, or managing your data.

Email hello@postpen.ai. We reply within 2 business days. Include the email address you use for PostPen, the agent you are connecting (for example Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Grok Bot), and what you saw. Never send us a LinkedIn password or token.

Connect an agent

The setup page at app.postpen.ai/agents has install buttons and copy-ready settings for each agent.

  • MCP server URL: https://mcp.postpen.ai. Your agent opens a browser; sign in to PostPen and click Allow.
  • Terminal agents: claude mcp add --transport http postpen https://mcp.postpen.ai (Claude Code), codex mcp add postpen --url https://mcp.postpen.ai (Codex CLI), or gemini mcp add --transport http postpen https://mcp.postpen.ai (Gemini CLI).
  • Bots without MCP can use the HTTP API with an API key: OpenAPI spec. Agents can read llms.txt for how to use PostPen.

Troubleshooting

The agent still says it needs authentication

  • Remove PostPen from the agent, add it again with the URL above, and click Allow in the browser.
  • Keep the agent app open until the browser says authorization is complete.
  • Cursor and Grok Bot both receive the sign-in on the same local port. Quit one of them while you connect the other.
  • If your browser asks to open the agent app after Allow, choose Open.

A post did not publish

  • Open the calendar; a failed post shows the reason.
  • If LinkedIn is disconnected or expired, reconnect it on the LinkedIn page, then schedule the post again.

I cannot post to a company page

Company pages are included on the Organization and Enterprise plans. On other plans, posts go to your personal profile. See pricing.

Revoke access

  • To disconnect an agent, remove PostPen from that agent's connector or MCP settings.
  • To stop an API key from working, choose Revoke next to it on app.postpen.ai/agents. Agents using that key are cut off right away.
  • To disconnect LinkedIn from PostPen, use Disconnect on the LinkedIn page.

Your data

PostPen stores your drafts, scheduled and sent posts, media you attach, and your LinkedIn connection. Agents never receive your LinkedIn token. To export or delete your account and data, email hello@postpen.ai from your account address. Details are in our privacy policy and terms of service.
