What PostPen does on Facebook
- Connect once. Connect Facebook on the Social Accounts page in PostPen and choose the Page to post to. PostPen posts to Facebook Pages, not personal profiles. Your agent never sees the token.
- Your agent picks the Page per post.
list_destinationsreturns your Page with an id likefacebook:<id>, andsave_drafttakes it indestinations. - Its own text.
network_textgives the Page its own version of the post, or it uses the same text as your other networks. - Checked before it's scheduled. If a post breaks one of Facebook's rules,
save_draftsays so innetwork_problems, andschedule_postrefuses the post until it's fixed. - One calendar. Page posts sit next to your other networks on the PostPen calendar, where you can edit, move or delete them before they go out.

FAQ
Can PostPen post to my personal Facebook profile?
No. Facebook lets apps publish to Pages, not personal profiles, so PostPen posts to the Pages you manage.
Does PostPen read Facebook analytics?
Yes. For the posts PostPen publishes to your Page, the Facebook dashboard in PostPen shows impressions, reach, reactions, comments, shares and clicks, plus the Page's followers. Your agent reads the same numbers with get_post_stats and get_insights.
Does my agent see my Facebook token?
No. PostPen keeps the Page connection on its server, and no tool accepts or returns a token for any network.
